Traid is a news-aware chat assistant. It stores chat history locally on your device and does not create accounts or collect personal information.

Data I Process

• Your queries and app interactions to generate responses.

• Public news headlines fetched from Finnhub when you ask about a ticker.

How Your Data Is Used

• To provide AI-generated summaries of public financial news.

• I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data.

Third-Party Services

• News provider: Finnhub — supplies financial headlines and links.

• AI provider: Claude (Anthropic) — processes your prompt and the news context to generate text responses.

Your queries may be transmitted securely to these services over HTTPS. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Storage & Retention

• On-device only: Chat history is saved locally. You can delete it anytime in Settings → Delete conversation history or by uninstalling the app.

• No server storage: Traid does not keep cloud copies of your chats.

Security

All network calls use HTTPS. No personal identifiers are attached to requests.

Your Choices

Avoid entering personal or sensitive information in prompts. Delete history anytime in Settings.

Children

Traid is not directed at children under 13. Please do not use the app if you are under the minimum digital age in your region.

Changes

Any future updates to this policy will appear in the app with a new effective date.
